How to install Windows 8 / 8.1?

Before Windows 8 installation:

Before you start installation you need to set boot order. If you don’t have any idea about boot order configuration, then CLICK THIS LINK for detail information. And after configuration of boot order then follow the steps below.

Here are some steps that will guide you to install windows 8 :

Steps for installation of Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 occurs same process. So you can follow the methods to install windows 8.1 too.

Step 1: start your pc with windows 8 DVD in your DVD-ROM drive. Windows 8 will automatically start to boot up.

Step 2: A screen will appear, which will allow you to setup your language, time and currency format etc. select your required setting and click ‘Next’ to continue the process. Next screen that will appear on your pc will allow you to install Windows 8. We need to do a clean install, so you need to click on ‘install now’.

Step 3: then set up process will appear, now type your product key that appeared with your copy of windows 8. Enter the product key correctly and click ‘Next’.

Step 4: through the license terms and click on ‘I accept license term’. Then click ‘Next’and Click on custom.

Step 5: select where you would like to install windows 8. Click ‘Next’ to continue. Windows will start to copy files to your hard drive and will start the installation. It might take a little time during this process. After the files are copied, windows 8 will restart.

Or choose the Customized way to install OS file in primary drive.

Select the primary drive(mostly C:)
Choose the format Option.
Select the drive and choose create. New drive with System reservation drive will be created.

Note:- Formatting wrong primary partition drive can remove your files. So make sure which drive is too format.

Step 6: you will be shown ‘let’s go through a few basic’s’ screen. Select the personalize option, then choose your PC name and personalize the color. After that select customize, to make further customization in your pc. Select yes and turn on sharing and connect to devices.

Step 7: After filling all the basic information in settings, windows will start to finalize your settings.

After the setup process is finished. Your application is right in front of you. Now you can start using windows 8 in your pc.your pc may not be fully configured, just make sure that all the hardware are correctly detected and the necessary device drivers are installed. However this can be done from the device manager.
