2 ways to make pizza

There is no pizza that will ever taste as fresh as it does when you make it at your own home.  We will give you the instruction on how to make hot, fresh pizza; the fast way or from the scratch.

Method 1: Fresh Fast Pizza


  1. 1 pizza base
  2. Pizza sauce
  3. Favourite pizza toppings
  4. Grated mozzarella cheese

There are many varieties of toppings. Some of the popular toppings are:

  1. Grated cheese (mozzarella, romano, parmesan, goat cheese or some combination)
  2. Sliced pepperoni
  3. Chopped onions
  4. Green peppers
  5. Sausage
  6. Bacon or bacon bits
  7. Chicken chunks
  8. Olives (Black, green or stuffed)
  9. Mushrooms
  10. Ground beef
  11. Ham pieces
  12. Pineapple slices
  13. Basil
  14. Roasted garlic
  15. Barbecue chicken

Step 1

First of all, Before you start cooking the pizza, preheat the oven to 400° Fahrenheit (204°Celsius)

Step 2:

Remove the unbaked crust from the packaging and place it on a baking sheet. Spread a thin coating of olive oil over the top of the crust with the help of pastry brush.


Step 3: Now spread pizza sauce on the crust. The amount of pizza sauce depends upon your personal preference. You can skip the pizza sauce and add a little extra olive oil instead, if you want to make a white pizza.

You can make a quick pizza sauce using tomato paste, a can of diced tomatoes and some spices (salt, oregano and pepper). First simmer the paste and tomatoes over the low heat, and then add the spices. Keep simmering until the sauce cooks down to the consistency of pizza sauce.


Step 4: Layer your favourite toppings over the sauce as per you preferences. On the bottom layer, put the heavier toppings (like onions, chicken or sausage) and on the top layer, add lighter toppings (spinach leaves or peppers).  Note: Other than pre-cooked pepperoni and ham, meat toppings should always be cooked before you start to put them on the pizza. Also if you add too many vegetable toppings, your pizza crust may turn out a little soggy.


Step 5: Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the toppings as per your choice. You can also use cheddar.


Step 6: Finally bake the pizza in the oven for about 20 minutes. Bake it until the crust turns golden brown and the cheese is melted.


Take the pizza out of the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes before you start slicing. Now your fresh pizza is ready to eat.


Method 2: Fresh Pizza from scratch


  1. 1 and half cup of warm water
  2. 2 ¼ teaspoons of active dry yeast.
  3. 3 ½ – 4 cups of flour (bread or all-purpose)
  4. 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  5. 3 cups of homemade pizza sauce
  6. Favourite pizza toppings
  7. 4 cups of grated mozzarella cheese
  8. Cornmeal
  9. 2 teaspoons of salt

Step 1:  First of all place the warm water in a large mixing bowl and pour the yeast onto it. Let it sit until it dissolves.


Step 2:

Put the flour, olive oil, and salt in the mixing bowl with the yeast mixture. Stir the ingredients together until a wet dough forms. Continue mixing the dough until it becomes smooth and elastic. You can add some flour in case the dough looks wet after you’ve been kneading if for a long time. This will help dry it up a little.


Step 3:

 Now place the dough in a clean mixing bowl coated with a little olive oil. Put a plastic wrap or a dishcloth over the bowl and keep it in a warm part of the kitchen. Let the dough sit and rise until it has doubled in size, which should take about 2 hours.


Step 4:

Preheat the oven to 425°F (218°C), before you are ready to bake the pizza.

Step 5:  

Now, divide the whole dough into two equal parts into balls. Roll out the first ball of dough into a circular shape, on a floured work surface. You can use your fingers to stretch it out and shape it. Once you have finished forming the first crust, make the second. After that, spread a thin coating of olive over the tops of the crust with a pastry brush.

Step 6:

Spread the homemade pizza sauce onto the crusts. Next layer your favorite toppings (do not excess the amount of toppings or else the crust won’t get crispy). After that, sprinkle on your favorite type of cheese.


Step 7:

Sprinkle the some cornmeal on the baking sheet and place the pizza on it. Put it on the oven and bake it for 15 to 20 minutes (until the crust is brown golden and the cheese is melting). Take the pizza out of the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes before you start slicing. And you fresh pizza is ready
